Dr. Michael Quick was invited, once again, to speak at the Texas A&M’s Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities. The program is embraced by the community at Texas A&M and continues to grow and make its mark within the business school. Here at ClaimPilot, we look forward to attending every year. Dr. Quick taught at Texas A&M for 25 years and is also a proud Veteran.

Dr. Quick told about his entrepreneurial journey – how he fought in Vietnam for two years, put time, effort, and money to start two other businesses before finding success with this company. Dr. Quick emphasizes that starting the journey is hard work, but believes that all of Veterans attending the bootcamp will be successful because of their resilience, focus and leadership.

EBV at Texas A&M is a novel, one-of-a-kind initiative designed to leverage the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans with service-connected disabilities and a passion for entrepreneurship. The aim of the program is to open the door to economic opportunity for our veterans and their families by developing their competencies in creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture.
